What does AWANA stand for?
- The AWANA acronym stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed based on 2 Timothy 2:15. For more information about the AWANA organization, please visit www.awana.org. Our church uses the King James Version of the available curriculum.
What are your Club Hours?
- Club is held on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 7, 2011 through May 23, 2012.

- Game Time 6:00 - 6:30
- Book/Verse Time 6:30 - 7:00
- Music and Missions 7:00 - 7:30
- Club Hour Breakdown for Cubbies
- The Cubbies Club uses a Total Teaching Time curriculum which incorporates the Bible lesson through each element of game, bible, craft, and verse time. This allows them the opportunity to move throughout the evening and better see how God's word applies to all aspects of our lives from playtime to structured class activities. Cubbies will join the older classes for Music and Missions at 7:00.
- The 2011/2012 Club will culminate with a Musical/Awards Presentation on Sunday, May 20th at 6 P.M. Wednesday, May 23 will be a special theme night used to reward the children for a year well-spent.
What are the age ranges of the clubs?
- Cubbies Ages 3 - Kindergarten
- Sparks 1st - 3rd Grade
- T&T Jr. 4th - 5th Grade
6th Grade through High School students follow a different schedule and curriculum. Please contact the church office at 903-561-7664 for more Youth Group information.
What am I paying for?
- 100% of the funds received are used to offset uniform and curriculum costs for each child. All of our workers volunteer their time and energy to the children and the program. Please click on the following link to view a breakdown of book and uniform costs for each club.
Is a Uniform Required?
- Each club has a required uniform which helps promote unity within the groups.
- All clubbers are required to wear rubber-soled, closed-toe shoes such as tennis shoes. Game time is a required segment of each club night; therefore, flip flops, sandals, boots, etc. are prohibited except on previously specified theme nights.
